Continuing The Eating Coach series on addiction, we look at the actor Nelsan Ellis’ best known creation, Lafayette from the HBO series True Blood. Lafeyette is a brilliant role model for reclaiming our lives not only from food, but any addiction. The tragic early death of Nelsan Ellis last year at the age of 39 adds a very poignant layer of meaning and metaphor to this discussion.
